How to become a Follower of Jesus
We were all created with a purpose. The goal in life is to live in such a way that we discover and realize that purpose. It all begins when we realize that “in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1).
Once we realize that we were fearfully and wonderfully made we can change our whole lives by allowing Jesus to become our Lord and Savior. Below are 3 things that need to happen for this life- changing event to occur.
Prayer for Salvation
Dear Lord thank you for sending your son Jesus Christ to earth for us. I believe
Jesus is who he says he is and has done all he said he would do. I believe
Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified for my sins and is
seated today at the right hand of your throne. I believe Jesus came for me and
his sacrifice cleanses me from all unrighteousness. I want to discover your
plans for my life and be in your perfect will. Thank you for dying for me,
forgiving me of all my sins and accepting me as your child today. Accept me
now into your everlasting kingdom forever. Amen.
